Fast-growing Midlands based PVC-U and aluminium fabricators, The Boing Boing Group further strengthens its Executive Management team with the appointment of Amy Jansen, as Projects & Marketing Manager.
Amy’s experience is varied and extensive and adds a new dimension to the Group, as Gary Morton, CEO, explains: “A trained opera singer with a background in project management, Amy certainly brings a fresh outlook to the business and is a great addition to the group’s Executive Management team. Having initially joined Central RPL in a part time capacity, managing our customer’s service calls, her natural ability to organise and solve problems quickly revolutionised this area of the business. We are delighted that she has now joined us in a more senior full-time role, to lead the marketing function and other projects we have planned, such as the FIT Show.
Amy continues: “I’m delighted to take on the role of Projects & Marketing Manager and have certainly hit the ground running with realising the group’s plans for FIT 2019 and setting up Central Hub – an online portal that will provide our customers with all the marketing tools they need to promote the sales of our manufactured products. The Central Hub will act as a library of all the brochures, product information, POS materials, images and much more, and will be officially launched at the FIT Show in May.
“Our plans are coming together for the exhibition, which is as much about underpinning our existing customers knowledge of our extensive PVC-U and aluminium product and service range as it is about engaging with the wider market. We’re looking forward to showcasing the very best of what the
group can offer customers.”
Gary concludes: “In manufacturing it is traditional to see men at the helm of many organisations, but Amy was actually the second female appointment we made to the Executive Management Team in 2018. Kristie Hughes joined us early in 2018 as Group Finance Controller and has since been further promoted to Group Financial Director. She has since implemented many procedures and controls that have had a significant and positive impact on the group. 77% of the NHS is made up of woman, including 46% of all senior management roles – a model I personally think we should be looking to emulate.”
